Payne 202 Bamboo Fly Rod 8' 3/2 #5A nice E. F. Payne model 202 bamboo fly rod, 8', 3 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #5 line. The rod weighs 4 ounces on my scale. Medium action. The rod has been re wrapped and re varnished and the grip has been sanded clean. Brown main wraps with yellow edges and a band of purple at the keeper and male ferrules. Agate stripper and black snakes, some with wear and some not. The ferrule fits are good and the oxidation is 98%. The western style grip is 6"

this is a very high quality USA made reel from Lon Dekard's machine shop in Cincinnati (Lon originally owned T&T at that time)
