Hardy Perfect Wide Drum Salmon Reel 3 1/4"A nice Hardy Wide Drum Perfect fly reel, 3 1 4" diameter and set up for RHW. Earlier leaded finish model. The reel has seen honest use with cosmetic wear throughout but no major defects that I could find. Somewhere along the way someone scratched their initials into the winding plates, a small set close to the spindle, and then a slightly larger set further toward the edge (the second is a little fainter and almost looks more like light scratching

The 6" long grip is styled to a slim cigar

perfect size for a switch rod

which could be cleaned off easily with Simichrome if someone desired

Comes in the original Vom Hofe Box

This rod was the very first Driggs rod that Paul Young built
