Orvis Model 99 Bamboo Fly Rod 8' 2/1 #7/8An Orvis Model 99 bamboo fly rod, 8', 2 piece, 1 tip, and built for a #7 or #8 line. Serial 44350. Slow action. Fair to poor condition with some knocks and hooks digs on the cane but nothing looks significant. Three up node pattern with a dark oven tempered cane. Dark snake guides with red wraps. The step ferrules are oxidized. A slight bend off at the ferrules. The cigar grip is 6 1 2" long and fairly well soiled. The reel seat is a downlocking
