Douglas Duck Bamboo Fly Rod 6’9” 2/2 #4A nice Douglas Duck bamboo fly rod, 6'9", 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #4 line. Serial #2014. Mint, uncast condition. Pleasing medium dry fly action. 3. 1 ounces. Blonde cane with a spiral node pattern. Very good varnish. Light tan main wraps. The ferrules are Super Z style and are polished bright. The grip is 6" long and done in a blunt Garrison style profile. As it nears the reel seat the cork drops down to the same size as the varnished birdseye

It's in pristine condition with little-to-no signs of use

There is some erosion of the cork grip due to cleaning (though many are quick to try and clean grips I almost always advocate leaving them uncleaned as this often leads to unintended damage)
