Coed Cyrnol Woodland Walk 9th June 2021I love where I live and Ive always been a bit of a magpie picking up bits and pieces on walks. I walk my dogs through Coed Cyrnol almost daily. It's our local walk. I love to watch the seasons change. We are lucky enough to have red squirrels in the woods too. I love watching them darting around. I picked up one of each leaf or grass I could see as I headed down the path on this particular day and this print is a result of this gathering. Each item is

This print is framed in white and glazed

The print is supplied unframed or mounted and is simply wrapped in an acid free tissue paper and posted in a tube

It's hard sometimes to make people understand exactly what the Gyotaku process involves

using the wheat paste is a ph neutral process and uses less man made chemicals

Additionally

Pollock are plentiful in the local water and they are a member of the Cod family

This A4 print is on Mulberry paper and has been mounted using the authentic Japanese wet mounting technique which uses a simple flour and water paste and requires a period of around 24 hours to dry and stretch

the paper isn't really good for framing as it gets knocked out of shape during printing
