Menai Strait, Line Caught Sea Bass Gyotaku Printed and Wet Mounted.This bass was caught on a line by a local fisherman here in North Wales. It was caught on the Menai Stait. Bass are my favourite fish to print the definition you get on the scales is wonderful. This bass is printed on Thai mulberry paper measuring 51x35cm. Printing is just the first part of the process. The design is digitally printed onto the Tea Towel

This print is framed in white and glazed

The print is supplied unframed or mounted and is simply wrapped in an acid free tissue paper and posted in a tube

The mounting paper is Japanese

This process flattens the print back out so it is suitable for framing
