This reel carries the '83 patent date on the oil cap. Serial number H392 dating the reel to 1915. This reel has been carefully and lovingly restored to its original luster in a fashion that would make Edward Vom Hofe proud. The owner of his reel purchased it from a reputable collector and the original head plate had a small
