Abel 5th Anniversary Fly Reel SetA nice Abel 5th anniversary limited edition reel set consisting of a Pt . 5 and Pt 2 model reel with custom engraving and wooden double display box. Only 100 sets of these reel were created and these reels are #004 in the set. Each reel is mint and unfished. Black anodized throughout each reel also includes a separate red nylon pouch and there is an accompanying care lubricant system included as well. A nice pair of reels for the Abel fan!

These reels come in a handsome mahogany display case with a glass-topped lid

The rod bag is a pale green with pockets for only two tips
screws--including cap screw for winding arm
The slide band reel seat is a varnished mortised maple and the cap and ring hardware appear to be turned from aluminum
The net measures 18" in length and 7 1/4" in width at the widest point
For sale here is an Otto Zwarg Model 400 Laurentian salmon fly reel - size 4/0
2 7/8" diameter and currently set up for LHW though the retrieve is easily swappable
Reverse half-wells grip 6 1/4" in length and very smooth
