Saracione SCA T&T Fly Reel 3 1/4" with Two Spare SpoolsAn excellent Saracione SCA (Saracione Classic American) reel with two spare spools made for Thomas and Thomas, 3 1 4" diameter and set up for RHW. Mint, unused condition. The reel weighs 7. 6 ounces on my scale and the spool width is approximately . 85". All sections are full length with a set in one of the tips

The reel foot is silver anodized as are the crank handle and Bogdan nameplate

Only tiny hints of ferrule wrap cracking

Late 19th century reel (presumably made in 1895)

The rod packs into a khaki bag and dark aluminum tube with brass fittings

The maker and model name have been etched into the backplate which also features the drag adjuster

All sections are full length with a slight set in one of the later-made tips
