Hardy Hercules Trout Reel 3"A nice early Hardy Hercules brass reel in 3" size. This reel boasts the rod in hand logo as well as the typical Hardy oval stamp from the period. Good overall condition with a great patina to the brass and nice straight full length feet. There is one dent to the sideplate but it does not impact the reel's mechanics which are nice and smooth with a satisfying click. The ivorine handle spins freely. Comes in a leather zipper pouch.

Every screw is 316 stainless steel is individually hand buffed to improve the finish and the corrosion resistance

Size 11/64 ferrules and the ferrule fit is good

The base of teh seat is flared cork and the same composite material is used for a base plate

spool width is ~1 1/2" and the weight is 11
