Bogdan Model 0 Salmon ReelAn excellent Bogdan model 0 salmon reel, set up for RHW. 3 1 4" diameter with a 1 3 8" spool width. Capacity for holding a #9 line with 150 yards of backing. This was the singlehanded workhorse model in the Bogdan catalog. Good used condition with some moderate rim rash on the frame and a few other minor marks here and there. There is some pitting on the inside of the spool. Pretty clean sideplates. Silver anodized frame, foot, serpentine handle, oil
The reel seat is a mortised curly maple with a large signature cap and ring (
The rod has the classic medium action characteristic of Granger/Wright&McGill
just extremely minor marks on the reel foot from being attached to a rod
certificate of authenticity

which would have come from Edwards' shop in CT that sold what were described in the Weber catalog as replacement "top sections
