Two exotic long tailed birds perch among a flowering tree of peony, rose and blossom, all hand coloured in pinks, greens and ochre and bordered by a scrolling floral rim and gilt rope band. Backstamped Spode, Copeland England, with a London retailer's mark. Spode produced this chinoiserie bird pattern at its Copeland works in Staffordshire. Great on a plate wall.
