A remarkably elegant and spicy nose that is now fully mature reveals the initial hints of sous bois while leading to rich
This is not a big wine in the context of a Gevrey grand cru but it's balanced and classically styled
a scent of unsmoked
This trades a bit of elegance in favor of more aromatic complexity on the cool and pure mix of red currant
Both wines boast opaque black colors
but flawless and with no edges
The 1996 Syrah Eisele Vineyard (350 cases) is a full-bodied
but with velvety tannin and stunning purple and black fruits
indeed this could aptly be described as a wine that delivers power without weight
