There is both fine volume and intensity to the punchy flavors that are more refined than usual thanks to the fine grain of the supporting tannins on the attractively well-balanced and persistent finish

A notably ripe nose displays cassis

this is a sensational tour de force and a great tribute to this spectacular hillside site on Pritchard Hill

toasty oak and plenty of sweet tannin in its full-bodied

Azsu-paste and a mango-scented nose that is incredibly intense

and flavor dimension not tasting heavy

The striking aromatics are followed by a full-bodied

I would further note that the 2017 is a relatively elegant example and

fine tannin and length on the finish

but the sweetness and taste of this wine's fruit is akin to a savory blend of a chocolate-covered

and toasty scents

This moderately powerful effort is shaped by dense but fine tannins and is a wine that should amply repay extended cellaring
