The original paper label is still in place on the underside, reading Lloyd Loom Woven Fibre Furniture British Made. The piece dates to the 1930s. It features a neat plaited rim, a woven loop pull on the lid, and shaped decorative feet. Lloyd Loom is not true wicker but a wound paper and wire weave
