The outer case is a handsome leather box with an intact strap and a locking snap (though I have avoided locking it). When you open the case you see three slim books marked "A", "B" and "C", respectively. Each book has a wooden frame with leather binding that holds two celluloid exterior pages that, when unfolded, reveal

varnished walnut and the butt cap is stamped "WE Carpenter

while "FDM 19-93" is stamped into the other side

Exterior dimensions: 6" height x 5 1/2" width x 2 1/2" depth

Line capacity is 300 yards of 30lb backing and up to a WF12F line

The reel foot is full length and unaltered

Comes in the original Hardy neoprene pouch

The replacement rod was a Spinoza model in the same length and line weight

Fish ruler black windings for 7 and 11 inches
