Sweetgrass Mantra Quad Bamboo Fly Rod 7’9” 3/1 #5A Sweetgrass Mantra model quad bamboo fly rod, 7'9", 3 piece, 1 tip, and built for a #4 5 line. Serial #14 017. Made as a one tip rod. Lightly used condition. Medium semi parabolic action. The cane is tempered to a light wheatstraw color and the node pattern is two opposed. The varnished butt shows some glue seams but they are not open and do not affect the working quality of the rod. The wraps are copper brown with black edges at the ferrules and tip

One tip has a small line across the facet at one of the nodes but it appears to be glued down and is sealed by the overcoat as I cannot get it to move when flexed (if it had movement that might indicate a structural problem)
