The rod weighs 3 ounces on my scale. Medium action. New, untouched mint condition. Oven tempered dark wheatstraw cane done in a three up node pattern. Resorcinol glue with the typical dark seams. The main wraps are brown with black edges at the keeper and ferrules with additional edges of brown and black at the keeper. The swiss ferrules

Comes its original blue cordura reel case and the spare spool comes in a neoprene Simms pouch

Very good condition with a couple of scratches on the back plate -- I do not consider them cracks

Lee Perkins found out the reel had been designed and made in Vancouver

on many of the most outstanding salmon and steelhead waters in the world

Good used condition for a reel of its vintage with minor cosmetic wear here and there though nothing especially noteworthy

The rims have had a new layer of anodization applied to them
