Hardy St Aidan with Spare SpoolA Hardy St. Aidan fly reel with a spare spool, set up for RHW but easily convertible. 3 3 4" diameter, 7 8" spool width, and designed for #7 9 lines with backing. Near mint condition. Pleasing click and pawl drag. Two screw latch. Reversible two screw nickel silver line guard. Smooth alloy foot. The reel and spool pack into the original box.

The reel seat is a re-varnished walnut slide band with cap and ring
Set in the Waverley types
The grip is in otherwise excellent shape
An Abel Super 12 spare spool in excellent condition
and another tiny mark on the spare spool
The reel comes loaded with line and backing in good condition
