It has a diamond shaped cartouche that's perfect for engraving, as well as a black enamel trimmed edge. It measures 2 3 4 inches in diameter, and is in very good condition, only some slight tarnish to the gold mesh. This compact is hallmarked on the rim with the EVANS name.
