The box was a Christmas gift to someone in 1956 and still has the original Christmas tag on the bottom of the box. The dabber has a faint scent of perfume, but is still in excellent condition. No cracks or damage at all. It has a screw off bottom to add your perfume. The bottom of the bottle is hallmarked "Pat. Pend. Made In Cleveland". The box is 4 inches in

This compact is in fabulous condition

There is only very slight wear to the pot edge

It's only noticeable under close inspection and doesn't detract from the beauty of the piece

It's very rare to find one of these compacts in the silver tone color

but it is not broken or chipped

The approximate measurements are 2 1/2 inches in height when extended by 4 inches across the base of the glasses

as well as patent pending on the interior

which you don't find too often in these gate top bags

as well as nickel silver

Just some slight age related darkening
