HL Leonard Model 39 Fly Rod 7'6" 2/2 #5/6An HL Leonard model 39 bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2 piece, 2 tips, and built for a #5 or #6 line. Weighs 4 ounces on my scale. Serial #1013 putting the date of manufacture circa 1968 or 1969. Medium action. Modest use with some hand soiling to the grip, cosmetic casting cracks to the ferrule wraps, and some brassing to the inner part of the snake guides. There are some marks on the screwlock nut where pliers were used to loosen it. Butternut color cane
