The rod weighs 2. 8 ounces on my scale (the hang tag lists it as 1 7 8). The rod is in mint and uncast condition. It appears to be an impregnated model. Fast action. Flamed cane with darker mottling. The wraps are brown with some build up of epoxy on the wraps. Black stripper, snakes, and tip tops. The step ferrules are oxidized and have a tiny "Kusse"

The reel is in near mint condition with the only marks being on the reel foot however slight they may be
