Antique Tramp Art Frame c.1885–1900Antique tramp art picture frame, late Victorian, c. 18851900. Constructed from layered chip carved cigar box wood in the classic sawtooth chevron pattern across multiple receding tiers. Original backing, original slotted hardware, and original jute hanging cord all intact. Pictured inside is a contemporary Sanderson fabric specifically chosen for the frame. The frame when acquired contained its original photograph of a seated woman in period dress,

all on a cream ground with fine crackle glaze

What sets this vase apart is the intricate embossed relief molding (raised white scrollwork) that frames the top rim and the base
