Sierra King Flycaster Fly ReelAn early Sierra King Flycaster model fly reel, 3 3 8" diameter and set up for RHW. This reel was the early predecessor to the Thompson 100 fly reel, made for just a few years. Hardy perfect style design though the internal drag boasts a normal click and pawl along with a separate brake shoe drag, both of which are adjusted via tension adjusters in the rim. Fair used condition with a good amount of cosmetic wear throughout though no major defects that

and the handle appears to be a full replacement as it is wood and there is a modern screw to the inside of the winding plate where it holds the replacement handle pin on

near the gear neutral position – see photos

Good used condition with moderate rim rash on the frame edges (concentrated mostly in the usual "resting place")
