I was teased about it before I’d even stepped off the plane

which ended up doing incredibly well and gave me the motivation to keep pushing forward

Even without eating there

especially with the layered perspectives

After spending so long researching it and getting lost in its history and architecture

the stories

and I knew instantly I had to draw it

watching the sun set behind the iconic amphitheatre

but there was just something uniquely magical about those early trips

I just stumbled across it by chance

a detail that only a few eagle-eyed fans have spotted when talking about this piece
