On its outer surface, there are several defined necrotic areas located to the left of the midline along the parasagittal area. These lesions appear brown and reach up to 3 4 cm in diameter at their widest points. They have caused an erosion of the outer layer of the skull, with thickening of the nearby periosteum due to fibrinous inflammation.
