Dingbat House on KeystoneThe second print in my long running Dingbat House series, this piece was originally created for my first ever solo show in Los Angeles. The exhibition was set to debut in April 2020, but unfortunately, it coincided with the outbreak of the pandemic and had to be cancelled. I was absolutely gutted at the time, but we adapted by turning it into an online release, which ended up doing incredibly well and gave me the motivation to keep pushing forward.

that doesn’t take away from the magic of standing where so many legendary movie stars once stood

and it naturally evolved into this sequel print

but unfortunately

They connected me with the company that manages events at the estate and arranged a private tour for the next time I was in Palm Springs

I’m obsessed with the Art Deco tiles set against that bright blue pool

Gallery1988 reached out and invited me to be part of an LA-themed group show

but I made a point of going to the old building to pay my respects once it had shut its doors
