The aroma is thick with honey. The flavor is smooth and floral with just enough bitterness and astringency to keep your palate interested. This tea is very fresh! The material in this cake is from a famous tea village in Nannuo Shan called Banpo Lao Zhai (半坡老寨)

As the smoke and heat swirl through the kiln additional pitch is deposited on the sides as well

We tried this 2007 offering this year and were quite pleased with it
