Leonard Model 39-5 Fly Rod 7'6" 2/2 #5A nice HL Leonard Model 39 5 fly rod, 7'6", 2 piece, 2 tip and built for a #5 line. Serial #2401 which dates the rod to 1974. 3. 7 ounces. The action is a tad on the slowish side of medium. Lightly used, with some soiling to the grip and a bit of cosmetic cracking at the ferrule wraps but little wear to the interior of the guides (and none on one tip). Wrapped 326 red with a green and red band at the keeper and male ferrules. The varnish is good but
