Hardy Perfect Fly Reel 3 1/8"A Hardy Perfect fly reel, 3 1 8" and set up for RHW. Good used condition with no major mechanical issues that I could find, though the overall finish of the reel is slightly rough in hand due to some minor corrosion and accumulated grime. Mark II check. Ribbed brass foot. The agate is free of cracks. The tensioner works as it should and the click is nice and smooth. Ebonite handle. Plenty of fishing left in this one and a careful cleaning would help

Because the Dingley shop was deemed to have "transgressed the patents for the Ambidex reelâ" they had to stop making this reel which is why so few are seen

The butt section could use another polish and has some water marks above the script

There is some wear to the hardware oxidation and one tip has a clear wrap above the third guide from the ferrule and the other tip has a damaged guide at the bottom with a crude re-wrap at that guide
