When we sold out of that we were pretty sad and have looked for something like it ever since. This is it! This is an imperial grade shou puerh. That means the leaf material is entirely buds. We experimented with this shape in our forge in Seattle and found it to be quite successful at separating even the toughest of compressed puerh

We got that opportunity this year and were more than impressed

We do recommend that you hand wash them though

We weren't able to get enough of this tea this year to do a full pressing of it

This is a really fascinating part of history and one in which many people have no idea

It is strong and intense with a very unique bitterness that can linger

This material has aged loose for 7 years
