The ship turned 10 degrees to starboard to avoid the iceberg and as the ship passed quite close, he captured this penguin jumping. Here you can see the crashing ocean wave on the west side of the Peninsular that attracts many surfers today but also the calm inside that would have provided many safe launch point for canoes heading out to hunt and forage in the past
