1984 Squier (by Fender Japan) "JV Series" SST-30 Vintage Stratocaster (Black)Part of the acclaimed "JV" series of guitars made by the Fujigen factory in Japan in the early 1980's, this is a Squier SST 30 model from the 1984 catalog. Heavy relic black finish on a basswood body with a very nice 21 fret maple neck, it weighs 3. 6kg's. The original Fender Japan ceramic single coils sound great and the wiring appears to be all original, there's a new pickguard installed and a brand new bone nut otherwise it appears to be all

Epiphone advertises these as having a Korina body with a Korina neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard

This guitar is in exceptional condition for its age with very few signs of cosmetic wear and tear as pictured

Extremely subtle modulations in the delay make it very musical

Appears to be all original with two DCS-3 single coils and a DCH-3 humbucker controlled by a 5-way selector and traditional Stratocaster wiring
