Commission 1I was approached by someone in 2021 to do a commission of their son. They had seen one of my paintings at a mutual friends house and really loved it. I don't really see myself as a portrait artist but as a figurative artist. I've always worked from photographs since my time in university and I'm often drawn to the human form. So, with some trepidation I accepted the commission and thankfully they loved it. So much so they asked me to do their daughter

I then roll out a backing paper

Just as a real fish would be inked and pressed to paper

Your items will come boxed as shown and works out cheaper than buying items individually

The print itself measures approx 35cm x 70cm  but with the mount the overall dimensions are 45cm x 79cm

I've then painted this print using Chinese watercolours

I would send it using a tracked courier

This print is mounted in a mount with an A4 aperture and an outside measurement of approx 40cmx50cm

Unframed and printed on fine Japanese washi paper

flat finish and enhancing its longevity

It is ideal for collectors of marine-themed art

This is one of my 2025 prints where I wanted to challenge myself to think more about the composition of the print and in doing so see if I could produce something at a standard size
