Framed Feather Gyotaku Black and Gold

Framed Feather Gyotaku Black and GoldA simple feather collected from my garden which is full of wildlife including red squirrels, rabbits, pheasants and hedge hogs. I've always loved printing feathers they make a very effective print and are popular amongst my clients. This one is printed on Chinese Xuan paper and the backing paper is Japanese Masa paper. The ink is acrylic screen printing ink and is black and gold. The print measures 17cm by 34cm and with the frame 30cm x 48cm approx.

I'm told that in an attempt to broaden the range of fish we eat here in the UK there is a move to rename this fish
