This is a large John Dory gifted to me some time ago

he was clearing down his bait tanks on the Menai and had pulled out half a dozen prawns and a pollock

This process also deepens the tonal qualities of the sumi

It requires a second sheet of paper to be glued to the print

It takes a long time to prepare and ink a prawn and then position it ready to print

Inspired by the traditional Gyotaku technique
