The box has wonderful bright colorful graphics; and is in wonderful condition. It has a silk lining with some slight stains. We haven't seen many of these powder tins out there

but he had to wait 4 years the patent was finally issued on January 19

It's a fabulous find to add to your vintage purse collection

and adds an additional 4 1/2 inches in length

but there is some wear to the gold finish on the inside powder compartment lid from the powder puff resting on it

but not on the outside
