1940's Evans Clock Compact Steamer Trunk Powder Compact Watch Rare Unused WorkingThis is a very rare and fantastic 1940's Evans steamer trunk clock or watch powder compact. The compact is a gold tone metal; and is in wonderful unused condition. It measures 2 5 8ths inches by 2 3 4 inches, and is approximately 3 4 of an inch thick, and is well made, and of substantial weight. The clock has a winding mechanism, similar to a wind up watch, and is accessed behind the metal mirror. The clock can be lifted up to be able to wind, as well

and would make a beautiful addition to any vanity

This makes it easy for cleaning

This is a really great looking 1940's Art Deco Evans Banner cigarette case lighter in a rose gold tone metal

The top opens up to 2 1/2 inches in diameter

rouge and mirror compact with an Art Deco guilloche enamel design

The back of the purse has a strap for carrying

but are otherwise in great condition

but still functional

The only issue we found is some age related mirror haze and silver loss around the edge of the mirror

The enamel still has a gorgeous high gloss sheen

and is in very good vintage condition
