20th-Century Swedish School, Portrait Of A WomanThis mid 20th century portrait depicts a young woman with an orange top. She sits, partially turned, her image captured with strong lines and confidence marks. The work is signed, maybe V Berg, in the lower right but weve been unable to track down the artist. Its clearly by a good hand given its rapid nature and level of expression. Its a little reminiscent of portraits by Isaac Grnewald (1889 1946) and its likely that the artist trained under him.
